Keshi pearls are formed when the oyster rejects the implanted nucleus and eliminate it, but the inflammatory reaction continues taking course and forms erratic nacre layers. As such, Keshi pearls come in a wide variety of shapes and sizes and no one piece is alike. Natural imperfections are normal are visible.
