Meet Moonstone 

The name itself evokes such subtle luminance. The aura of light around this alluring pale gemstone gives it a special glow. In fact, the finest moonstones command a blue sheen against a colorless background. With a mysterious sheen rippling under the stone’s surface, it is hard to ignore an image of moonlight reflecting and glimmering in water. Moonstones are often associated with passion, love and fertility and have been known to provide protection to travellers. It is also a stone for new beginnings and renewals. Moonstone is the third of June birthstones preceded by Alexandrite and Pearl. The reason for this blog on Moonstone instead of the other two gemstones? I can only attribute it to being hypnotized by its iridescent glow.
