Meet Garnet

Garnet got its name from the Latin Granatum for pomegranate as its deep red hue resembles the seeds of the pomegranate fruit. Long used as a protective talisman, warriors wore Garnet during ancient battles to guard against injuries and death. Travellers wear them for safe travels. Garnet also has the ability to attract good luck in business opportunities.

Known as: The stone of Faith, Health

Physical Healing Properties

Garnet radiates warmth and energy and is known to help keep your heart and blood circulation strong. It is a healer of health issues associated with the blood, lungs and heart; flushing out toxins and helping the body to absorb much-needed nutrients while keeping your metabolism in tip top condition.

Mind & Spirit Therapeutic Powers

As a protective stone, Garnet detoxes negativities and bestows safety, peace and tranquility. It is a wonderful stone in clearing out negative energies trapped in our bodies, creating space for cleansing and re-energizing the body. Its grounding properties keep you steady and off the emotional roller coaster, supporting self-esteem and eliminating self doubts. Garnet opens up the heart and invites devotion, passion, will power and emotional stability.

Garnet is an uplifting stone. For those often falling into self-doubts or depression, Garnet’s rejuvenating energies can increase your energy levels and support one’s self-esteem to approach life from a positive side.

Did you know ...

Garnets come in every colour of the rainbow, not just red!

Great For

Garnet is excellent for one who experiences low energy levels. Those who are constantly anxious or tense will experience calm and feel more grounded. Wearing a garnet above the heart is said to aid emotional and spiritual healing.
